The Haiti Naturopathic Relief Clinic [www.haiti.citronica.com] was founded to heal wounds and bring relief to the pain and suffering of the Haitian people. This free-clinic reaches into devastated and impoverished areas where larger allopathic clinics cannot go in supporting the health of thousands of Haitians to date.
Now local Herbalist Cynthia Thomas and four other highly trained volunteer natural healers are raising donations to return to Haiti September 14 through October 6 with medicines, experience, and deep compassion to help mend the Haitian people's bodies and spirits. Your donations will serve to pay for travel expenses, hire local translators and drivers on our arrival, and support gathering of herbal and homeopathic natural medicines and flower essences. Funds will also be used to support the clinic, which has been maintained by Oliama, a local Haitian herbalist/ bonesetter/ midwife, and to hire his sister of similar training to help even more people. In Haiti we will be working with the clinic to reach over 8,000 poor people in just three weeks, most of them destitute children, with the intention of also teaching simple healing methods to residents so they may in turn heal others, creating an exponential wave of assistance.
