Specials & Announcements
Hello Everyone! Cynthia here with Sacred Journey Healing Arts, LLC. In this, the darkest time of the year, I am filled with gratitude by the profound light I see all around me, and the many incredible gifts this year has brought. I wish you all peace and gentleness during this Holiday Season, and ask you to welcome back the light this Solstice by making some personal commitment to health.
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce to you my two new studio mates at Corcoran Community Healing Arts, LLC, at 2223 East 35th St, Minneapolis. While I'm at it I thought I would reintroduce myself for those of you who may only know a bit of what I do, and offer some Seasonal Specials. I'm really pleased and excited to be working with these fantastic practitioners, acupuncturist Maribel Arcuino and personal coach Beth Wallace. Read our biographies below and please note each of our specials for you and your loved ones this holiday season and into the New Year. Thanks everyone for following along this year! Look soon for a calendar of events, herbal student practitioner circle, updated website and great education in 2010, from Sacred Journey Healing Arts!
Blessings, Cynthia

Now at Corcoran Community Healing Arts

Maribel Arcuino, L.Ac, MS, CMT, is an NCCAOM and NADA certified acupuncturist, an herbalist and a certified massage therapist. As an artist with a desire to help people using her hands, Maribel became interested in Chinese Medicine. She received her training in the verdant Pacific Northwest at Bastyr University and the Brenneke School of Massage. In her practice, she strives to address the many dimensions of imbalance that can lead to illness, in a holistic manner inherent to Chinese Medicine. An important component of her treatment style is to partner with her clients to discuss dietary and lifestyle choices that engender harmony. Maribel is inspired by nature, her daughter, and the body's innate ability to heal. She welcomes any inquiries about acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, and how one might benefit from them. Contact Maribel at marcuino@gmail.com and 612.217-1351.
Through February, Maribel is offering acupuncture sessions for $50, and 6-session smoking cessation packages for $240. Welcome the new year in health!

Beth Wallace has been a mountain ranger, a preschool teacher, and a book editor. Now, in her coaching practice, Beth works with people who are feeling stuck in the midst of big life changes. Her clients are smart, creative, thoughtful people who are having trouble moving forward on the things that matter most to them. Coaching helps them clarify what they want, acknowledge what's in the way, and start taking action. Beth also works with managers in nonprofit organizations who are passionately committed to the work they do, but in danger of burning out. She helps them make their jobs manageable, and their organizations into models for the world they want to create. Beth coaches in person at Corcoran Community Healing Arts by appointment on Thursday mornings, and by phone on other weekdays. Some evening hours are also available. For more information, to sign up for a strategy session, or to register for the Get Unstuck course, contact Beth at 612.822-1262 or bethwallace@visi.com.
Beth offers a free 40-minute strategy session as a way for you to see what coaching is all about. Also, in January and February, get three coaching sessions/month for $150 if you mention Corcoran Community Healing Arts.

Beginning on February 22nd, Beth and her colleague Beth Peterson will teach a six-week Get Unstuck class on Monday evenings from 7-9 pm at Corcoran Community Healing Arts. Space is limited to 10 people maximum. Register by January 15th, and receive a $50 discount!
