Medicine Making 101: Three Part Series

Thursdays, Jan 26, Feb 9, & Feb 23, 6:30-9:30pm
- January 26 - Part I: Medicine Making Essentials
- February 9 - Part II: Medicinal Oils, Salves and Lotions
- February 23 - Part III: All About Tincture
These Thursday courses are designed to help those studying herbal medicine to deepen their relationship to the plants through an understanding of plant anatomy and physiology, plant structures and function, history and ecology, classification and naming, and last, but not least identification and medicinal uses. Botany for the Herbalist
Join me to learn Botany in 2012! This past summer I taught a 40-hour botany course for the first time. It was a great adventure, including a steep learning curve not just for the students, but for me as well. I was very happy with the results (in spite of some challenges), and the students demonstrated that they had learned a great deal. I was very proud of the effort that was put into the class by everyone! Please consider joining me on an amazing journey to better know and appreciate our green allies. Dates will be set soon.
